Job summary

Infinium seeks a Project Engineer to support commercial-scale energy projects, including SAF production facilities and power/cooling systems. You will coordinate design packages and serve as a liaison across engineering, operations, procurement, and vendors.

The role emphasizes technical integration, schedule discipline, and quality across the project lifecycle, with a focus on sustainability, safety, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical engineering.
• 3–7+ years of project engineering experience in industrial, energy, large-scale power, chemical, or renewable fuels projects.
• Experience coordinating engineering design packages on large-scale process facilities.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering workflows (process, mechanical, E&I, civil/structural).
• Familiarity with EPC project delivery, Pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development of process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation design packages.
• Liaise between internal engineering teams, technology providers, operations, procurement, and vendors.
• Review datasheets, equipment specifications, and design criteria before issuing documents.
• Track engineering progress, schedules, inter-discipline reviews, and risk/issue logs.
• Manage RFIs/TQs and ensure clear stakeholder communication.
• Facilitate interface management and resolve design conflicts.
• Lead design reviews, HAZOPs, constructability reviews, and value engineering.
• Support procurement with vendor documentation and bid evaluations.
• Collaborate with construction and commissioning to implement design on site.
• Ensure activities support sustainability, safety, cost, schedule, and performance.
