Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead a diverse team of project managers, engineers and commissioning staff in delivering complex design and commissioning projects for energy infrastructure. You will guide technical direction, ensure schedule adherence and maintain client satisfaction across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a 4-year accredited program.
• Alternative Degree: Engineering Technology / Construction Management.
• 5 years minimum experience as a Project Manager.
• Alternative: 15 years of PM experience for the Company.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project experience.
• Professional Engineering License.
• Ability to lead presentations for marketing and business development for projects.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with industry competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work.

Responsibilities

• Directs a design team of project managers, engineers, and technical staff in developing building designs that meet client requirements and schedule.
• Directs a commissioning team to perform functions supporting client requirements and schedule.
• Delegates projects among engineering or commissioning staff according to skills and project needs.
• Approves process specifications and design or commissioning standards, reviewing designs for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains strong client and vendor relationships and develops new business from delivered projects.
