Job summary

Abbott Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Superintendent across all project phases. You will manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders while providing data entry and research support.

The role requires a 4-year construction-related degree, 1+ years of project engineering, and the ability to pass a drug test. Healthcare construction experience and multi-project management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field.
• 1+ years of project engineering experience.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Healthcare construction experience preferred; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support PM and Supt to meet project goals across all phases.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Provide research, data entry, and legwork as needed by PM/Supt.
• Complete budget revisions in Viewpoint as required.
• Assist planning, scheduling, and coordinating projects to meet deadlines.
• Maintain safety aligned with Abbott's core values.
