Job summary

DeSimone Consulting Engineering seeks a Project Engineer to support structural design from concept through construction. You’ll gain hands-on experience with design and analysis tools, collaborate across disciplines, and grow project management skills within a dynamic engineering team.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Structural/Civil Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in structural design or analysis preferred.
Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and structural analysis software such as ETABS and SAP.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow within a dynamic engineering team.

Responsibilities

Perform structural design and analysis using tools such as Revit, Rhino, ETABS, and SAP.
Assist in preparing drawings, calculations, and documentation for design deliverables.
Coordinate with architects, clients, and other design team members to ensure design alignment.
Conduct field observations and inspections under the guidance of senior engineers.
Maintain accurate records of design decisions, calculations, and project documentation.
Contribute to project planning and scheduling discussions with Project Managers.
Apply knowledge of structural codes, standards, and materials to design solutions.
Support quality assurance efforts by reviewing drawings and checking design accuracy.
