The Work
As a Project Engineer, you will report to the Design-Build Line of Business Manager and play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects by serving as a vital link between the field and office operations. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing project documentation, facilitating communication between subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams, and ensuring that all work is executed in compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules. Your day-to-day tasks may include preparing and tracking submittals, RFIs, and change orders, assisting in budget and cost management, supporting the superintendent and project manager with field logistics, and participating in site visits to monitor progress and address any challenges that arise. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Success in this position means keeping the project organized, on track, and running smoothly, while fostering collaboration and maintaining a high standard of quality and safety throughout the construction process.
This position is REMOTE, but you must be able to travel to client sites up to 20% of the time. Due to the location of the majority of our clients, candidates in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States are preferred, especially candidates in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Opportunities for longer term deployment to support project execution may be made available on a case-by-case basis.
