Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Operations team on our project in Franklin Furnace, OH. This is a full-time, in-person position focused on on-site trade coordination, material design, fabrication, delivery and installation with ongoing interaction with field supervision and cost/design issue management.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in construction/engineering or 3+ years of equivalent experience, plus strong communication and time management skills and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction/engineering field OR 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Outstanding communication and time management skills, computer skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Initial responsibilities would include on site trade coordination and management, coordination of material design, fabrication, delivery and installation, ongoing interaction with field supervision, management of cost and design issues (change orders, RFI’s, document updates, etc.) and other responsibilities focused on overall project management and success.
• Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications.
• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
• Overall trade management and coordination, and some level of exposure to BIM.
