Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Project Engineer for an in-person role on our Franklin Furnace, OH project. This full-time position involves on-site coordination of trades, material design and delivery, and close interaction with field supervision to drive project success.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in construction/engineering or at least 3 years of equivalent experience, plus strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills. Proficiency with BIM is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction/engineering or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication and time management skills, ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with general computer skills and software.

Responsibilities

• On-site trade coordination and management, material design/fabrication/delivery/installation coordination, interaction with field supervision, cost and design issue management (change orders, RFIs, document updates).
• Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications.
• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
• Overall trade management with exposure to BIM.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Operations team on our project in Franklin Furnance, OH. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Initial responsibilities would include on site trade coordination and management, coordination of material design, fabrication, delivery and installation, ongoing interaction with field supervision, management of cost and design issues (change orders, RFI’s, document updates, etc.) and other responsibilities focused on overall project management and success.


• Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications.


• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.


• Overall trade management and coordination, and some level of exposure to BIM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction/engineering related field OR 3+ years of equivalent work experience


• Successful candidates will also possess outstanding communication and time management skills, computer skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred

• Willingness to relocate as needed.
