Job summary

Holder Construction Group in the United States is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Operations team on an OH project. This is a full-time, in-person role focusing on on-site trade coordination, material design, fabrication, delivery and installation, and collaboration with field supervision to drive project success.

The ideal candidate may hold a Bachelor's degree in construction/engineering or have 3+ years of equivalent experience, with strong communication, time management, and computer

Responsibilities

• On-site trade coordination and management, material design, fabrication, delivery and installation.
• Interact with field supervision; manage cost and design issues (change orders, RFIs, document updates).
• Read Construction Design Documents and Specifications; perform cost estimates and quantity surveys; some BIM exposure.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Operations team on our project in Franklin Furnance, OH. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Initial responsibilities would include on site trade coordination and management, coordination of material design, fabrication, delivery and installation, ongoing interaction with field supervision, management of cost and design issues (change orders, RFI’s, document updates, etc.) and other responsibilities focused on overall project management and success.


• Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications.


• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.


• Overall trade management and coordination, and some level of exposure to BIM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction/engineering related field OR 3+ years of equivalent work experience


• Successful candidates will also possess outstanding communication and time management skills, computer skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred

• Willingness to relocate as needed.
