TNP has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer to join our established design team in Denton, TX. The role involves plan production and design for various public and private projects, including public works infrastructure, transportation, traffic, land development, water resources (stormwater), subsurface utility engineering, and site development. This position offers valuable experience in planning, designing, and constructing paving, drainage, grading, water, sanitary sewer, and transportation facilities, along with opportunities to develop project management skills and participate in our mentoring program.

Responsibilities

1. Research and complete technical design tasks, plan production, and project delivery as required.
2. Prepare construction documents for public and private infrastructure projects, from conceptual to final design.
3. Perform construction administration.
4. Prepare reports, schedules, cost opinions, specifications, and contract documents.
5. Establish effective communication and collaboration with team members and clients.
6. Organize and schedule your work and assist in managing project timelines and budgets.
7. Coordinate with technical experts, design teams, and sub-consultants.
8. Assist Project Managers in project and client management.
9. Supervise Civil Engineers and CAD Designers.
10. Contribute to the technical training and development of junior engineers.

Requirements

Education/Certification

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• Current Texas PE license or ability to obtain within one year.

Professional Skills
