Job summary

Veolia seeks a Project Engineer to join the energy services Boston team. You will survey, design, oversee installation, commission metering equipment, and train teams while identifying improvements.

You will manage multiple projects, work with contractors, and ensure design plans meet specifications. Requires a ME/EE/CE degree, PLC/DCS and SQL experience, and field-ready problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with control systems and/or DCS (Distributed Control Systems).
• PLC programming experience and ability to configure systems.

Responsibilities

• Commission and start-up utility-grade metering equipment.
• Engineer and design modified metering systems to meet objectives.
• Review plans for specification compliance.
• Conduct on-site surveys with personnel and contractors.
• Perform lab testing for process troubleshooting.
• Manage multiple projects over extended periods.
• Troubleshoot and rebuild existing equipment in the field.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports in a timely manner.
• Oversee contractor work during project phases and provide technical support.
