MRINetwork is seeking a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager for a data center project in the Buffalo, WV region. The role involves assisting the Project Manager across all project phases, managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, and budgets, and coordinating with Owners and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience with commercial or industrial mechanical projects, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead multi-discipline meetings.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting successful candidates that preferably have a 3 years experience or more as an Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer working with Commercial or Industrial Mechanical projects.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist the Project Manager in managing and supervising all phases of assigned projects
• Manage the submittal process
• Respond to or create RFI's as needed
• Assist in negotiating all change orders and maintain change order logs
• Work with the Project Manager to manage the project budget and approve all expenses
• Interface with the Owner on all projects assigned
• Assemble and maintain complete project records and close-out documents
• Prepare and manage schedules
• Work with the Project Manager to perform project punch-list inspection(s), in coordination with superintendent and the Owner’s Representative, and issue punch list to all relevant subcontractors
• Estimate change orders
• Contract administration
• Assist in the Buyout of subcontracts & equipment
