Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager in Buffalo, NY to lead HVAC/MEP projects from planning through closeout. You will coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely, cost-effective execution of projects.

The role requires 5+ years in PM for HVAC/MEP construction, strong cost control knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and PM software. Competitive salary with full benefits in Buffalo area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC/MEP construction, with at least 2 years supporting industrial or commercial projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction logistics, job cost accounting, and project financials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Autodesk Build, Spectrum ERP, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle onsite, from planning through closeout, with a focus on reliability and uptime requirements.
• Coordinate daily with field superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless execution of work.
• Monitor and track project schedules, costs, manpower, and equipment to meet project deadlines and financial objectives.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and progress billings.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotations to ensure scope alignment and best value.

We are working with a national MEP contractor who needs a mechanical project manager in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience with various commercial and industrial mechanical and MEP systems.
