Job summary

The Bell Company is hiring a Project Engineer to support planning and management of mechanical and plumbing construction projects in the Washington, DC area. You will collaborate with engineering, field teams, and vendors to drive projects from inception through commissioning.

Experience in construction and a strong interest in project controls is valued; OSHA 30-hour certification is required before starting.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; other engineering curricula may be considered.
  • Experience or interest in construction careers and project controls.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and managing mechanical and plumbing construction projects on complex sites.
  • Support project controls activities such as submittals, change orders, purchase orders, material takeoffs, and releases.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery, budgeting adherence, and safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, field teams, and vendors to execute projects from inception through commissioning.
