Job summary

This role provides technical expertise and project oversight, ensuring alignment with project goals and on-site execution. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the Project Engineer will optimize processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support up to 10 concurrent projects while gradually taking on leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience managing multiple projects and leadership abilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Generate work plans, project schedules, submittal data, and CAD drawings, and present solutions to owners for design problems that arise in the field.
• Track project quantities and generate project billing.
• Initiate and negotiate change orders, and review plan changes as they arise.
• Coordinate material procurement, supplier relationships, purchase orders, and quality control efforts.
• Manage and negotiate subcontracts.
• Assist in division field personnel management, and coordinate with field personnel and crews to resolve problems.
• Attend pre-construction meetings.
• Support up to 10 concurrent projects.
• Provide regular updates to clients on project status, timelines, and key developments.
• Develop, implement, and optimize processes to improve efficiency.
• Work with field employees to ensure alignment between plans and execution.
• Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and safety standards.
• Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making.
• Gradually take on more leadership responsibilities toward management.
