Job summary

Kraus-Anderson is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager or Superintendent in planning, directing, and coordinating activities for designated projects. You will work to ensure goals are met within timeframes and funding parameters, while supporting a learning environment and growing with KA.

The role emphasizes collaboration with owners, architects, and the planning team, preconstruction activities, and maintaining project records and schedules to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years related experience or equivalent of education and/or experience.
• Working knowledge of computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) and project management software.
• Continuously improving verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Travel 25-75% depending on job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager or Superintendent to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure timely completion within funding parameters.
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly schedule support to project team to preserve the Contract and Project Schedule.
• Coordinate activities with project staff and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain and review project documentation, reports, and inspections; generate progress photos and meeting minutes.
