The role requires a BS in engineering, 5+ years of experience, strong technical and communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed. Join a team focused on quality, innovation, and ownership.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years direct work experience in the relevant field.
• Strong technical, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proven experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical and financial justification.
• Ability to travel (minimal travel).

Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate theoretical principles and approaches, using independent judgment to design equipment and systems meeting program requirements.
• Conduct on-site supplier visits to monitor progress and ensure alignment with timelines and quality.
• Make independent decisions on engineering problems and represent the organization in vendor meetings.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work within a total program.
• Conduct feasibility studies reviewing plans, cost estimates, proposals, and specs.
• Coordinate and schedule technical development activities and resolve design/testing issues.
• Act as liaison with customers and vendors to ensure end-user needs are met.
• Continuously review active projects and implement changes to maintain timelines.
• Prioritize projects in line with organizational goals and strategies.
• Maintain close communication with team leaders, managers, and executives.
• Provide guidance to engineers within the department and project teams.
• Minimize negative financial impact across facilities during implementation.
• Perform other duties as requested.
