Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Ennis, TX is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Engineering Department supporting Production, Maintenance, and Capital Projects. You will manage capital projects, provide design scopes and cost estimates, and drive continuous improvement through technical analysis.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing, with lead engineering experience and strong budgeting skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical).
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably roofing/building products.
Ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and lead as a senior engineer.
Proven experience managing scope, budget, and downtime constraints.
Proficiency with computer software and G Suite applications.

Responsibilities

Oversee capital projects across lifecycle, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance.
Develop detailed design scopes, cost estimates, and capital expenditure justifications.
Support continuous improvement via technical analysis and equipment modifications.
Act as the technical resource for design, coordination, commissioning and startup.
Coordinate internal maintenance and external contractors during project execution.
