Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation seeks a Project Engineer to join the Newark AirTrain project at Newark International Airport. The role supports planning, coordination, execution, and closeout on a large-scale transportation project.

You will work with project managers, superintendents, owners, designers, and contractors to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards, handling documentation, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architectural engineering, or similar.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with a General Contractor.
• Experience on large-scale transportation, airport, rail, transit, heavy civil, or public infrastructure projects.
• Coordination of station finishes, escalator installations, terrazzo, curtain wall systems, and related interfaces.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of a large-scale AirTrain project.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Owners, Designers, and Trade Contractors.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and technical reviews.
• Assist with cost tracking, budget management, and forecasting activities.
• Monitor progress, ensure safety, schedule adherence, and quality compliance.
