Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation's Newark AirTrain project seeks a Field Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of construction experience to support field operations, planning, coordination, quality control, and documentation on heavy civil infrastructure.

You will coordinate subcontractors, review plans, track progress, generate RFIs, and assist with procurement and safety programs while interfacing with project management and owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar from an accredited program.
• Minimum 3 years of heavy civil construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management and field supervision with daily construction operations.
• Coordinate and monitor work by subcontractors and self-perform crews.
• Review plans, shop drawings, and contracts for compliance.
• Prepare daily and production reports and field documentation.
• Generate RFIs, submittals, and material tracking logs.
