Job summary

Tutor Perini is seeking a Superintendent - Station Finishes for our Newark AirTrain project. You will lead interior station construction activities, coordinating finishes and architectural components with MEP and civil teams.

Ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on a major transportation project. The role requires substantial supervisory experience on transit or similar infrastructure, knowledge of ADA standards, and ability to manage multiple subcontractors and relationships with

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 12 years of superintendent/supervisory experience.
Experience on transit, railroad, airport, transportation, infrastructure projects.
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, schedules, RFIs, and submittals.
Experience coordinating union labor and multiple subcontractors.
Knowledge of ADA requirements and public-facing infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all station finish activities from rough-in through final completion.
Coordinate installation of tile, terrazzo, stone, masonry finishes, and metal panels.
Oversee drywall, painting, architectural concrete finishes, doors, frames, and hardware.
Lead finish-related coordinate meetings with MEP and other teams.
Maintain project schedule milestones and implement recovery plans when required.
Conduct regular quality-control inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
