Job summary

First Roles is seeking a Project Engineer Intern to support the project team in completing designated construction projects while learning industry processes and Ryan business policies.

You will gain hands-on exposure to budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders, and job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety. The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management and the ability to work 40 hours per week for a minimum three-month term.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field and within 18 months of graduating.
• Be able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
• Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural/engineering drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project team in completing designated projects while learning construction industry processes, procedures, and Ryan business policies.
• Develop a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
• Gain familiarity with job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.
