Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Intern to support the project team on designated construction projects in Denver. You will learn budgeting, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders while gaining field coordination exposure.

You will develop skills in job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety, with guidance from experienced professionals. This internship targets students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field and within 18 months of graduating.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week for at least a three-month term.
• General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications and drawings.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
