Job summary

TechDoQuest seeks a Systems Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team for custom industrial refrigeration and gas compression equipment design. You will perform calculations, select components, and build documentation tailored to each project.

Responsibilities include estimating project execution, managing schedules and change orders, and ensuring compliance with ASME/CRN/NFPA/AWS/IBC codes. Travel up to 15% is required as projects progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in writing and presentations.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates for project execution, schedules, and change orders.
• Own engineering deliverables from inception to completion including field start-up support.
• Review and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and customer specifications.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and improve processes.
• Mentor junior engineers on processes, design, and risk management.
• Travel 10-15% as required.
