Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE) seeks an Environmental Project Engineer (EPE) to assist clients with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs and assessments.

The role emphasizes air emissions, SPCC, SWPPP, and regulatory compliance across industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in environmental engineering or a related field, at least 2 years of industrial/consulting experience, and EIT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in environmental engineering, occupational health and safety, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial/consulting experience in environmental and safety programs.
• Experience with on-site industrial manufacturing operations, mining operations, or similar environments.
• Working knowledge of RCRA, CWA, CAA, EPCRA, and OSHA regulations (preferred).
• EIT candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support air emissions inventories, permit applications, renewals, emissions reporting, and related documentation.
• Develop and implement SPCC plans and SWPPPs.
• Provide solid and hazardous waste management consulting and regulatory support.
• Perform EPCRA TRI and Tier II evaluations and reporting.
• Prepare pretreatment wastewater flow and self-monitoring reports and permit applications.
• Participate in on-site inspections, media sampling, and report preparation.
• Develop, implement, and monitor OSHA policies and procedures.
• Manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule to deliver quality work.
• Travel locally 2–3 days per week with monthly overnight stays.
