Job summary

Novaspect, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team. You will actively lead project design, FAT/SAT/SIT engagements, and commissioning at customer sites while developing solutions and training content for operators.

You will work with internal and external customers, advancing process controls standards and leveraging Emerson and Novaspect platforms. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and growth within an employee-owned ESOP organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical work experience required.
• 2–6 years of experience in control system engineering field.
• Advanced knowledge of process controls standards and development procedures.
• Certification/training in advanced configuration and Process Controls solutions.
• Proven excellence in core responsibilities and leadership in Systems Services.

Responsibilities

• Support customers under the Project Management process with effective solutions.
• Lead formal design reviews and FAT/SAT/SIT engagements.
• Develop project processes, simulations, and operator training content.
• Lead startup and commissioning at customer sites and mentor other engineers.
• Identify business development opportunities and establish customer relationships.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology field or technical work experience

2-6 years of experience in the control system engineering field

Advanced knowledge in application of process controls standards (Emerson, Novaspect, Industry)

Advanced knowledge of internal development procedures and tools

Certification and training in advanced configuration and Process Controls solutions

Demonstrate excellence in core job responsibilities and competencies

Technical expertise and leadership in one or more disciplines within Systems Services
