Job summary

Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, is seeking a Field Service Engineer Control Systems to join our fast-paced field service engineering team. You will support process control solutions at customer sites, perform DCS configuration, commissioning, startup, tuning, and provide training.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or tech and 2–4 years in control systems. DeltaV experience is preferred, with travel up to 65% and on-site work at customer facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology field
• 2-4 years of experience in the control system engineering field
• Experience working with DeltaV, preferred
• Ability to perform as an embedded engineer at a customer location
• Ability to work independently as the primary technical interface for customer or sales team

Responsibilities

• Actively listen and communicate to accomplish customer objectives
• Provide ongoing site support including DCS configuration, commissioning, startup, and tuning
• Develop and deliver operator training and technical reports
• Lead preventive maintenance visits and assist with cybersecurity maintenance
• Travel to customer facilities and work at customer sites as needed
