Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a project engineer to conceptualize, design, coordinate and manage start-up of midstream natural gas facilities, including meter stations, compressor stations, dehydration, amine treating, and gas plants.

The position requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree and at least four years of experience; based in Houston with an additional Denver location, offering a salary range from $122,900 to $212,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Four or more years of experience required.
• Experience with meter stations, compressor stations, dehydration, amine treating, gas plants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with affected departments during project development to vet resource estimates, schedules, benefits, and safety impacts.
• Develops, implements, and manages capital and expense projects within budgets and PM processes.
• Facilitates detailed design reviews to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Manages project performance and communicates with multi-discipline teams of internal stakeholders.
• Leads multiple projects from conception to commissioning and start-up.
• Acts as a safety leader, drives safety meetings, supports HES goals, and follows MOC and energy isolation procedures.
