Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical or Industrial.
• Minimum of 6 years of material handling related experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks; MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Designing/enhancing conveyor systems and related material handling equipment.
• Review designs for compliance with engineering principles and customer specs.
• Coordinate activities with technical teams and manage design/test problems.
• Prepare/Review installation drawings using AutoCAD.
• Obtain quotes and issue purchase orders.
• Monitor project schedule, engineering time, and costs.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure equipment fits within system constraints.
• Travel up to 20% for site measurements and commissioning.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Resolve engineering issues with customers and vendors.
