Job summary

AVL Mobility Technologies Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Project Engineer II - DRE to provide technical, program and account management expertise to cross‑functional teams.

The role requires close collaboration across engineering and program management to ensure on‑time, within‑budget delivery of complex energy storage projects. Responsibilities include leading project phases, coordinating development plans, driving design reviews and DFMEA/DVPR, and managing supplier negotiations to meet timing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years’ experience in stationary energy storage system design.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools; Siemens NX preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead project phases with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate development plans and drive engineering activities.
• Lead design reviews and participate in DFMEA/DVPR.
• Coordinate supplier negotiations and lead-time planning.
• Drive release processes and ensure deliverables meet timing.
