Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking a Project Engineer II to lead and manage activities across the product lifecycle for SAOC-related programs. You will interface with internal teams and external customers to ensure successful project execution, from design concepts to delivery, with strong emphasis on RF system architecture and risk management.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering with at least 2 years in leadership, and a TS/SCI eligibility security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong RF engineering background and RF system knowledge.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary design teams and requirements management.
• Familiarity with INCOSE standards and program management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to project teams.
• Coordinate inputs, schedules, risks, and dependencies across teams.
• Interface with external customers on technical matters to meet requirements.
• Prepare status reports with progress, risks, and mitigations.
• Identify issues, craft resolutions, and implement contingency plans.
• Drive continuous improvement and risk management practices.
