Job summary

PTI Tech is seeking a Project Engineer II to lead new product development from concept through production handoff. The role partners with design, tooling, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure performance, cost, schedule, and production-readiness goals are met.

Using disciplined execution and strong collaboration, you will drive manufacturable solutions, support automation integration, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across PTI’s molding, MIM, CNC, and sintering operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field is required.
Experience managing technical projects in manufacturing environments is essential.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Lead NPD projects from concept through validation and production launch.
Define and maintain timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
Lead design/tooling reviews for manufacturability and production readiness.
Coordinate injection molding tooling design and supplier communication for quality and cost efficiency.
Design and manage CNC fixtures, secondary operation tooling, and sintering setters.
