Job summary

Techtronic Industries - TTI is seeking a Project Leader for New Product Development Engineering to drive mid to high complexity product programs from concept through mass production. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, own technical scope, make trade-off decisions, and ensure delivery within cost targets.

The role requires strong electromechanical knowledge, 5+ years of experience, and a proactive leadership approach in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related field.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Results-driven with ownership to aggressive schedules and results.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, agile culture and adapt to change.
• Excellent problem identification and resolution skills.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams.
• Ability to develop productive business relationships and influence internal teams and external suppliers.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project leadership skills.
• 3–10% travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Drives project from concept to mass production with cross-functional coordination.
• Meets cost, schedule and performance targets during execution.
• Establishes and reinforces a strong project culture.
• Holds team members accountable for responsibilities.
• Escalates to leadership when needed.
• Creates and tracks schedules; facilitates meetings.
• Visualizes full project scope with minimal guidance.
• Tracks project risks and mitigations.
• Leads tradeoff discussions with product management and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrates negotiation skills to reach compromises.
• Presents updates, risks, and business cases to leadership.
• Ensures component delivery via sourcing and supply chain coordination.
• Coordinates build readiness planning across departments.
