Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Project Engineer II to manage multiple low to moderately complex engineering projects with minimal direction. You will provide project management and technical direction to assure timely implementation while coordinating with cross functional teams across global sites.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (mechanical preferred), at least 4 years of experience, and the ability to drive NPD processes from concept to launch with strong cost awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or educational equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in designing a product to be mass produced.
• Ability to manage low to moderately complex new product development projects.
• Solid understanding of part costing methodology.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple low to moderately complex engineering projects with minimal direction.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to local and global team members.
• Develop schedules, agendas, and document project meetings; track timelines.
• Coordinate project planning with cross functional teams to meet milestones.
• Ensure delivery of conforming products with Operations, Quality and Suppliers.
