Job summary

Pavion is seeking a Project Engineer II to join our shared services team. You will independently develop complete engineering documentation packages, including drawings, submittals, and equipment schedules, ensuring project specifications and standards.

You will coordinate with design teams, provide technical support on-site, review designs for codes and safety, and communicate with clients and contractors to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 3+ years' experience in engineering or coordination.
• Proficient in CAD and design tools.
• Strong understanding of low‑voltage systems including security, access control, fire alarm, AV.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and produce engineering documentation packages meeting project specs and company standards.
• Review design accuracy and compliance with codes, industry standards, and customer requirements.
• Assist with change orders and value engineering by analyzing design alternatives.
• Coordinate with design teams to integrate revisions and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to field teams during installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate with project managers and contractors to communicate technical requirements and resolve installation discrepancies.
