Pavion is seeking a Project Engineer II to join our shared services team. You will design, document, and coordinate engineering activities for fire alarm, security, and AV projects across the globe, ensuring quality and compliance.

You will support field teams, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with vendors and clients to deliver practical, cost‑effective solutions on schedule. The role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 3+ years' experience in engineering or coordination.
• Proficient in CAD and design tools.
• Strong understanding of low‑voltage systems, including security, access control, fire alarm, AV, and related technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and produce complete engineering documentation packages meeting project specs and company standards.
• Review design accuracy and compliance with codes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Assist with change orders and value engineering by analyzing design options.
• Coordinate revisions and keep documentation up to date through project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and support to field teams during installation and commissioning.
