Job summary

Opus Group is seeking multiple Project Engineer II, Construction roles to support day-to-day field operations on commercial projects across Des Moines, IA; Omaha, NE; Minneapolis, MN; Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Kansas City, MO; Phoenix, AZ; and Denver, CO.

This role focuses on safety, schedule, cost control, and collaboration with project teams and subcontractors. Local work predominates with occasional travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 4+ years of construction/project management experience may replace degree.
• Ability to learn new project management software tools and scheduling software.
• Knowledge of budgeting procedures and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Support safety program and maintain safety records and reports.
• Prepare estimates and assist with project schedules and phasing plans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and project team members.
• Maintain project files, meeting records and project documentation.
• Review drawings and assist with change orders and budget tracking.
