Job summary

F.H. Paschen is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project manager with documentation, scheduling, on-site supervision, and cost control to keep projects on track.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or an engineering field and have 1–3 years of related experience; proficiency with Blue Beam, Revit, AutoCAD, Procore and Microsoft Office is preferred. The company offers a strong benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Industrial or Civil Engineering, or a related built-environment field is required.
• 1–3 years on-the-job experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager is preferred.
• Experience with construction tech: Blue Beam, Revit, AutoCAD, Procore, and MS Office is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are required.

Position Overview:

Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks’ completion.

Assigned Responsibilities*:

• Assist with on-site management to ensure project success.
• Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines.
• Responsible for RFI and submittal process.
• Processes owner billings and project related accounting issues.
• B.S. in Construction Management, Mechanical, Industrial or Civil Engineering, or a degree related to the built environment is required.
• 1-3 years on the job experience as a project coordinator, project engineer or project manager is preferred.
• Candidates should have experience with technology related to construction, such as Blue Beam, Revit, AutoCAD and Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
