Job summary

F.H. Paschen is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project team with administration and documentation on construction projects. You will help oversee one to two trades on larger projects or many trades on smaller projects, ensuring tight schedules are met.

The role requires a BS in Construction Management or related field, 2–3 years of experience, and proficiency with Blue Beam, Revit, and Procore. Strong communication skills and field support duties are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related built-environment degree.
• 2–3 years of on-the-job experience preferred.
• Experience with construction tech such as Blue Beam, Revit, and Procore.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.

• Participate in preconstruction services, including estimating and value engineering.
• Track material procurement and coordinate deliveries
• Produce project schedules with site superintendent.

• Track status of Notices for Information (RFIs)
• Collect, verify and distribute as-builts.
• Maintain project close-out documents.
• Assist with field supervision.

Position Overview

As the Project Engineer, you will help the project team with all administration and documentation of the construction project while providing support to assist the team in overseeing one to two trades on a larger project or many trades on smaller projects.

Work Hour Options

• General work hours are 7:30am - 5pm and 5-day work weeks are standard. Note that work hours and workdays may vary (changes, additions, etc.) based on critical work activities and/or required safety supervision.

Requirements

• B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a degree related to the built environment is required.
• 2-3 years on the job experience is preferred.
• Candidates should have experience with technology related to construction, such as Blue Beam, Revit, and Procore.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
