Job summary

ISEC, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager with administrative tasks, scheduling, submittals, and vendor coordination on active projects in Texas.

The role covers field coordination, change orders, labor and delivery scheduling, and timely material releases. The candidate will support administration of subcontract requirements, documentation control, and cost tracking, while ensuring compliance with safety and project quality standards.

Qualifications

• Assist in project scheduling, submittal processing, and change orders.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain project control documentation and cost records.
• Prepare monthly billings and cost projections.
• Ensure safety procedures align with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and finalize project schedule.
• Procure and submit all project submittal information and manage approvals.
• Assist with administration of subcontract requirements and change orders.
• Coordinate communications with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed during construction.
• Assist in job closeout and keep PM informed.
• Resolve conflicts with clients and customers.
• Record information in Project Control/Document Control System with target dates.
• Review Job Costs with Project Manager.
• Manage shop drawings through project specs and reviews.
• Release material timely and coordinate deliveries.
• Visit jobsites as needed and review progress.
• Maintain a Shortage and Breakage Log and reorder material.
• Prepare operation and maintenance manuals and guarantees per specs.
• Assist PM in preparing monthly billings, cost projection and weekly logs.
