Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Project Engineer 1 to support field execution on building projects in the Atlanta area. You will assist with general construction management, punch lists, and self-perform work under senior supervision.

You’ll learn safety, QA/QC, estimating support, and coordination with foremen, subcontractors, and project teams while contributing to on-site schedules and documentation. Entry-level construction experience and a Bachelor’s degree in construction management,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety and quality plans; follows company standards.
• Exposure to estimating, change management and quantity take-off.
• Entry-level construction experience welcomed and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Learn safety and quality plans and mentor others.
• Participate in QA/QC planning for assigned tasks.
• Learn estimating, change management, quantity take-off processes.
• Support on-site project tasks: monitoring crew size, materials, equipment.
• Assist with punch lists, inspections, safety reviews, documentation.
• Post drawings and specifications with latest information.
• Prepare project meetings and distribute required docs.
• Produce daily/weekly progress reports and manpower data.
• Support project scheduling and procurement logs.
• Assist close-out activities: O&M manuals, as-builts, punch lists.
