Job summary

HOK is seeking a Project Engineer to lead engineering design for small to mid-size building projects, from concept to commissioning, within a hybrid work environment. You will contribute to design development, BIM coordination, and client collaboration across disciplines.

The role requires 5 years of project engineering experience, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and a background in LEED Silver or higher projects. Travel and cross-team coordination are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; PE/SE license or eligible.
• 5 years project engineering experience with one high-profile project.
• Experience delivering projects from concept through commissioning.
• LEED Silver or higher experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD; BIM coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering of small to medium projects and assist on large ones.
• Develop concepts, deliver design, and review other engineers’ work.
• Attend client meetings and support business development activities.
• Ensure quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.

Education

Bachelor of Science in engineering

Master’s degree preferred

PE or SE license

LEED accreditation preferred

Experience with LEED Silver or higher projects

Experience with architecturally significant buildings

Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
