Job summary

HOK in San Francisco seeks an experienced project engineer specializing in electrical design for complex buildings. You will contribute from concept to construction, developing details and coordinating with the BIM team to ensure quality, schedule, and budget alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• Licensed SE/PE in relevant states or PE/CE/PE.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.
• Experience delivering projects over $20m up to $80m in construction value.
• 5 years project engineering experience with at least one high-profile project.

Responsibilities

• Improve engineering design and design processes within a discipline.
• Develop details, specifications, and drawing standards; coordinate BIM with the BIM team.
• Manage project manpower estimates, communications, budgets, deliverables, and standards.
• Visit project sites for reviews of quality, progress, and conformance with specs.
• Lead as part of a team and support client meetings and business development.
