Job summary

HOK is seeking a Project Engineer to deliver small to medium building projects and support larger teams on major initiatives. You will help develop concepts, produce designs, and coordinate with the BIM team to ensure quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in engineering, LEED experience, and 5+ years in integrated project delivery. The role supports projects up to $80M with a collaborative, client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed SE/PE (structural) in applicable states.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design for small to medium projects and assist larger projects as part of a team.
• Develop concepts and produce design deliverables, coordinating with BIM team.
• Develop typical details, specifications, and drawing standards; coordinate with BIM.
• Perform site visits during construction to verify quality, progress and conformance to specs.
• Support business development through fee estimates and client interactions.
