Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for a heavy civil highway and bridge project in the Savannah, GA area. The role focuses on submittals, RFIs, quantities and cost tracking on a multiyear interstate widening with major bridge work.

The candidate will work closely with DOT inspectors and design engineers, spend substantial time in the field, and support the Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Superintendent throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project or field engineering on heavy civil highway, bridge or DOT projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Hands-on with submittals, RFIs, quantities and cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Run submittals and RFIs for your scope.
• Build quantity takeoffs, project logs and pay application backup.
• Track cost against budget and help with monthly cost reports.
• Help update the project schedule in Primavera P6.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries.
• Read and interpret plans, specs, traffic control and environmental requirements.
• Spend time in the field on bridge and roadway work.
• Support the Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager and Superintendent.
