Ashton North LLC, a heavy civil contractor based in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking a Project Engineer with 5–8 years of civil construction experience to join its Tampa office. You will own project controls, scheduling, cost tracking and field coordination for FDOT-related highway and bridge work.

Ideal candidates will have a B.S. in Civil Engineering ( Construction Engineering and Management emphasis preferred), proficiency with Primavera P6, Excel and Word, and be based in Tampa or willing to

Formación

• 5 to 8 years of civil construction experience (office and field)
• Experience managing multiple activities on heavy civil work
• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management emphasis preferred
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Excel and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• FDOT project experience is a plus
• HCSS HeavyJob experience is a plus
• Based in the Tampa Bay area or willing to relocate

Responsabilidades

• Review the contract and specifications in their entirety
• Support the Project Manager and Project Superintendent on day to day project needs
• Prepare and update the project schedule in Primavera P6
• Track quantities, project costs and forecasting
• Get pricing from subcontractors and vendors, including change orders
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and crews to resolve field conflicts
• Support monthly billing, cash flow projections and change order processing
• Run document control for submittals, contract documents and record drawings
• Review HeavyJob daily reports for accuracy
• Keep NPDES permits, the SWPPP, inspections, survey staking and joint measurements with the owner on track
