Job summary

JB&B is seeking a Project Engineer to join a high-profile team handling healthcare and multi-sector projects in New York City. You will lead design efforts on tenant fit-out and base building upgrades, coordinate with disciplines, and produce complete contract documents.

You will mentor junior engineers, review drawings, attend client meetings, and support proposals while advancing your project management skills in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience or demonstrated Senior Engineer-level competencies.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD for design development.

Responsibilities

• Leads full design on tenant fit-out projects and base building upgrades; prepares contract documents.
• Establishes design criteria from proposals and assembles Basis of Design documents.
• Mentors junior staff and leads JB&B University courses; communicates with clients and stakeholders.
