Job summary

Wohlsen Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project team and help ensure on-schedule, high-quality construction delivery. You will manage submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and document control while coordinating with vendors, clients, subcontractors, and governing agencies.

You will assist in bid packages, project billings, and schedules, partner with the Project Manager to monitor timelines, and contribute to project close-out and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent construction industry experience.
• Familiarity with Primavera Scheduling, SureTrak, MS Project, and CMiC is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and process Submittal and RFI project documentation with timely distribution.
• Compose meeting minutes and interoffice memos for stakeholders including clients and vendors.
• Coordinate and monitor the bid package process to ensure comprehensive quotes.
• Assist in preparation and monitoring of project billings and draws.
• Maintain accurate project files and logs for changes, permits, and submittals.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and update project schedules.
• Attend project meetings and support effective team communication.
• Maintain close-out documents including O&M manuals and safety records.
• Uphold safety program compliance and participate in safety inspections.
