Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects across the Southeast, with exposure to grocery retail, big box retail, light industrial, medical, office, and tenant improvements. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and field teams from preconstruction through closeout.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management, scheduling, documentation, and overall commercial

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of commercial construction experience or related internship/co‑op experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, ProjectSight, or similar software is a plus.
• OSHA 10 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, shop drawings, and project documentation.
• Maintain project management systems including Procore, Bluebeam, and related software.
• Support communication between project teams, subcontractors, architects, and field staff.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain logs/tracking documentation.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Support procurement, scheduling coordination, and material tracking.
• Assist with punch lists, closeout documentation, and quality control efforts.
• Provide support to field operations and superintendents as needed.
