Job summary

Jobot in Wisconsin is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support construction projects across Janesville, Madison, or Milwaukee. You will assist with planning, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, procurement, site visits, and closeout, coordinating with Project Managers and Superintendents to deliver on time and on budget.

A bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and 1–4 years of experience are preferred; familiarity with Procore or Bluebeam is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in a project engineer or similar construction role.
• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative, team-first attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Experience across commercial, industrial, healthcare, or education projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and coordination across all phases of construction
• Managing submittals, RFIs, and project documentation to keep projects moving efficiently
• Supporting procurement of materials, subcontracts, and equipment
• Communicating with subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and design teams on a daily basis
• Conducting site visits and field observations to monitor progress and quality
• Contributing to project closeout, punch lists, and owner turnover
