Job summary

Jobot in Wisconsin is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support delivery across Janesville, Madison, or Milwaukee offices. You’ll partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to coordinate plans, schedules, and field activities on construction projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and has 1–4 years of experience, plus familiarity with Procore or Bluebeam, strong organization, and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and coordination across all phases of construction
• Managing submittals, RFIs, and project documentation to keep projects moving efficiently
• Supporting procurement of materials, subcontracts, and equipment
• Communicating with subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and design teams daily
• Conducting site visits and field observations to monitor progress and quality
• Contributing to project closeout, punch lists, and owner turnover

Job Details

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team across our Janesville, Madison, or Milwaukee offices. You'll work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to support the successful delivery of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and coordination across all phases of construction

What we're looking for

• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)

• A collaborative, team-first attitude and eagerness to learn
• Experience across commercial, industrial, healthcare, or education projects is a plus
